I’d like to introduce myself to you, so brace yourself!

My name is Jayne Good and I am a certified instructor in the Bob Ross Wet-on-Wet Oil Painting Technique.

For some years now I have painted, dabbling in all types of painting techniques, my favourite was always watercolours, mainly because of the instant results you achieve.

Like all of us at one time or another there came a time when I needed some stimulation and I decided to look for a painting class to attend. 

Very soon I went along to a workshop at a local art shop, when I arrived I thought I had the wrong room, I asked the instructor “is this the Wet-on-Wet class?” She said that it certainly was The Bob Ross Wet-on-Wet oil painting class.

“Who’s Bob Ross?” were my memorable words.

That was the beginning of my Bob Ross Experience and I have to say I have never looked back.  My instructor introduced me to the most exciting painting technique around!!

The title “Joy of Painting” couldn’t have described it better. I went home that day thoroughly elated, my Masterpiece carefully placed in my car and a shopping bag full of Bob Ross equipment.

I knew from that day that I wanted to paint in this style. My friend taped Bob’s TV programme for me and I began my Bob Ross journey!

In November 2002 I qualified as a Certified Ross Instructor and my mission is to introduce as many people as possible to “The Joy of Painting”.

I hold one day workshops in my new purpose built chalet studio and at selected venues throughout the Midlands.
